Tah-Miek
These are portraits I had taken of young adults in their respective area of residency and also interviewed them on how it is to live in low-income vs high-income areas(Canarsie and Downtown Brooklyn). It’s just catching them in their natural element of their respective areas doing their usual activities.
video project
The film see’s the average young adult from either one of two major Brooklyn area’s. Downtown Brooklyn and Canarsie. The young adults being interviewed are asked about how their life usually occurs and what goes on in their communities and to show/compare the differences in their lives.
audio story
The audio story attempts to replicate the same theme of the video as it shows the sounds of each respective area and the difference or similarities in each area. Just catching audio from people in a everyday conversation.
