\Brownsville Community Justice Center

In March 2022, the Youth Design Center (YDC) partnered with the Brownsville Community Justice Center (BCJC) to create a targeted print campaign aimed at increasing awareness and engagement for BCJC's spring events. The collaboration focused on designing visually compelling flyers that effectively communicated event details and encouraged community participation.

The campaign strategically distributed these flyers throughout Brownsville, ensuring that the messaging reached underserved communities who could benefit the most from BCJC's programs. By utilizing thoughtful design and clear messaging, the initiative aimed to bridge the gap between available resources and the residents who needed them.

This partnership exemplifies YDC's commitment to using design as a tool for social impact. Through creative collaboration, YDC and BCJC successfully connected with the community, reinforcing the power of accessible and well-communicated outreach efforts.

Brownsville Community Justice Center works to reduce crime and incarceration, and strengthen community trust in justice in central Brooklyn.

YDC worked with BCJC to curate fliers in light of their upcoming events for underserved communities.
