In April 2021, Youth Design Center (YDC) collaborated with Hip Hop CU to promote financial education among underrepresented communities through the annual Hip Hop Fin Fest. The challenge was to create visually compelling graphics that were both informative and aligned with Hip Hop CU's brand identity.

To address this, YDC integrated current design trends with Hip Hop CU's branding to develop clean and engaging graphics. These designs effectively generated digital traffic and heightened awareness of the Hip Hop Fin Fest event. This collaboration underscores YDC's commitment to leveraging design for social impact, particularly in enhancing financial literacy within underserved communities. By aligning visual aesthetics with educational objectives, YDC and Hip Hop CU successfully engaged their target audience, reinforcing the power of culturally resonant design in community outreach initiatives.
